Today's fantastic experience: hiking Stone Valley with some other librarians after a huge thunderstorm blew through yesterday. Yes, we have cell phone service in Potsdam, and in Canton.South of Potsdam, service can be pretty sketchy. Between Watertown and Canton, it fades in and out. You can count on very little service in the Adirondacks, except the populated areas of Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, and Tupper Lake.
